Fox Class

Foxes have enjoyed our topic 'Fire!, Fire!'. We have learnt about the Great Fire of London.

In English, we have been reading 'Toby and The Great Fire of London' and we created our own reports about the Great Fire of London.

In History, we have learnt about the events of the Great Fire of London. We looked at pictures from London today and discussed what it would have been like in the past.
We explored why the fire spread so quickly and what damage the fire did.  We then looked at how London changed after the fire.
In Art, we have created our own Tudor houses in History.

In Science, we have continued with our Animals Including Humans topic. We learnt to describe and compare the structure of a variety of common animals (birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals, including pets). We have been learning what a carnivore, herbivore and omnivore is

In R.E, we have been exploring the question 'Why was Jesus given the name ‘saviour'?' and learning about how some Christians celebrate Christmas and the Christmas story.

In Spring 1st, we are looking forward to our topic 'Amazing Animals'. We will be having a visit from a petting farm and learning about Africa. We will be looking at where Africa is on the map and how it is different to where we live. We will also be making our own African masks.

PE days this half term are Wednesday and Friday.
